Implant Case

Case of 24 years old male Raja reported to the clinic with chief complaint of missing 21. Block graft procedure was performed prior due to insufficient bone width. On examination sufficient bone width was gained and the patient was fit enough to undergo replacement with implant. Implant dimension of 3.3*14.0 (Straumann SLActive BLT) was planned after CBCT evaluation.

On the day of surgery full thickness flap raised and after sequential drilling implant dimension of 3.3*14.0 placed with cover screw. Adequate homeostasis achieved after simple interrupted suturing with 3.0 black silk. Post operative instructions was given and patient recalled after a week for suture removal.
